Moped advice
I've been to look at a moped and the log book has something on the lines of "this vehicle has been salvaged due to an uneconomical
repair".
The seller said that it was panel damaged - aren't they all!
The moped has a MOT
Does this mean its been written off as in a Cat D/C?
I have done an online insurance quote and its not flagged anything but i am told its flagged on HPI
Will it keep getting 'pulled' if I bought it or should it be ok?
It IS relatively cheap.
Thoughts?

cat c and d used to require (until a year ago) a VIC 'vehicle identity check'
uneconomic means the current value plus repair costs (and incidental costs that may include a substitute vehicle for some time) come to more than the
cost of replacing it now.
do check hpi then you know where you stand, and gives you a negotiating position. (but the price probably reflects this already

Motorcycles have never required a VIC check AFAIK
