Had a great time at the Javelin Sprint Event yesterday at Kendrew Barracks (ex-RAF Cottesmore). Very tight at the top of the timesheets but I
eventually won by 0.3 sec with a 1 min 35.4 secs run. The new Omex ITBs feel amazing compared to the old Jenveys, the engine picks up way faster than
before. Jon Ison was also there with his flying machine and did really well on his first Sprint with Javelin to take 2nd place in the F1 category.
Was great to have a chat during the day.

Well done!!
Was the track as rough as it looks? Looks more like a rally stage
The IsonBusa isn't pretty but it's always been very effective in Jons capable hands Wait until he gets used to its new boosted lump
The main runway area and end of the lap where fine, the first two complex parts where bumpy and the slicks where covered in stones for the first 4-5
corners.
Race Technology Video 4 system. Quite old tech now but it full aperture shutter rather than the cheaper GoPro type cameras with their roller shutter
so you don't get the vibration effects you get on a GoPro.
