ball joints for sierra hubs

What lower ball joints are people using with sierra hubs? or is nobody using them? Will the hub need machining, and if so, where can i have it done close to N. Wales?

mk2 astra joints are apparently a direct fit, but most get them reamed and use cortina or maxi parts. However, there are a lot of different joints that will fit - its just a matter of working out what! i had mine reamed at MK, near sheffield, but im sure most kit companies will do them.

yeah

or you buy a item on an special shop

alixter or something

that reamer (hand reamer) will do exactly the job for a maxi one..

Tks

Most ppl use the maxi or cortina ones and get the hubs machined as said above. Ive gotta have a word with luego and take mine to get em done.

Just wondering if someone could fill me in on what the Maxi ball joint is. We are familiar with the corti ones down here is Aus but i haven't heard of the maxi ones.

Any clues on what car this is off, a google came up with an early Dodge??

Thanks in advance.

agk, the Maxi was made by Austin in the UK and was a sort of shrunken Austin 1800 (virtually identical to the Leyland Tasman/Kimberly down here). The Maxi wasn't imported into Oz.
