I'll be there. Its a bit far for me too but I sold a car cover to Tim so I've got to go and deliver it. With luck, I'll be in a new (but old) car.

mrwibble - 3/7/09 at 04:13 PM

yeah i'll be coming, ian's kindly offered to drive, and my misses wants to come now, after she drove a 200bhp fury today

omega0684 - 3/7/09 at 05:19 PM

All are welcome!

Too far for me!

MikeR - 4/7/09 at 11:22 AM

Dave - i thought you lived in Stratford, surely thats far closer.

Clare - if you drive down the fosse way / cross country, isn't that closer to Leicester than the normal pub?

According to multimap this place is just the other side of the M40 to warwick or have i got completely the wrong pub?

I fibbed..........I made it , well , there was mapping to be done (which seems to have resulted in over 40 MPG )
Wish I had given in and had a meal.........piggin' starvin' when I got home !

vindicator - 7/7/09 at 09:13 AM

It was worth going and meeting some new faces.

The tagliatelle was very nice. Left at 10.35pm and was home just after 11.10pm.

Got to the motorway island and like a pillock took the first turning which is the A46 and followed signs to M42 thereafter to Jun 3 of the M42 instead of getting on Jun 15 of the M40. Counted something like 6 speed camera's (which did not flash!!) and just had time to brake before passing them........ Very nice road to drive on.

Thanks Alex for organising the outing.....

it was a good meet last night, lots of laughs and jokes thrown about (yes you know who you are) had good chats with everyone, lots of topics talked about to,

i didn't eat but the food that was had by the two tim's did look delicious!

unfortunately the busty waitress wasn't working but the other waitress wasn't bad to look at either

i will be out and about in the next couple of weeks sourcing a new pub for the next meet, which will be around the Redditch/Tanworth-in-Arden area so a bit closer for you birmingham lot!

more updates to follow

its you missed last nights meet you missed a good one and despite the weather TimR still turned up in his Vindicator! Good Man

Hi all, I am back on the scene - kinda.
I just wanted to hijack this thread to let you know a bout a "classic" car show at my local in Nuneaton. Last year there were around 25 cars there, ranging from MGb's to a mustang.
i thought a show of force by some locosters would go down well. its a micro brewery and the beer is excellent (no lager though).
Details can be found Her - Church End Brewery.
Look forward to seeing you all again soon.
Dave.

omega0684 - 7/7/09 at 08:11 PM
