If you fancy going a bit further out there's a great American type diner between Basingstoke and Newbury on the A339 at Kingsclere called Nelsons Diner open 0830 Sundays. Also some interesting roads over that way - maybe akaKeith can suggest some.
Can't make it this Sun. maybe 2nd Oct though there's a Breakfast Club "Anything but the Car" - guess it means no tin-tops - on at Goodwood which looks like a free for all - maybe a few of us could link up for that?
BTW how's the "new" engine?
As if to prove it's not totally a hairdresser's car a standard (but energetically driven) MX5 took FTD at the FDMC Odiham Autosolo recently!
