For anyone interested this is one of the final events of the year.
It has to be one of the best, cheapest and most fun days you can have for the money and/or with your clothes on!
Novices/first timers are evidently extremely welcome and our type of cars have their own class.
If you don't fancy taking your own car then the better half's shopping car will do equally as well.
Ever seen a Nissan Micra three-wheeling it? Thought not - but as some of the Micra drivers show it's possible!
Cost is only £36 per entrant (plus Oxford Motor Club membership unless already a member of that club plus FDMC, Cotswold, BTRDA, Club Triumph, CSMA or
SE Lotus owners)
No need for competition licence, reverse gear and the car only needs to be road legal, taxed, MOT'd and driven to the event BUT no sticky
tyres.
Places still available but could book quickly - go to Autumn Autosolo
See you there - even if you just show up to see what it's all about?
Cheers, Pewe
You don't know how tempting that is. But I fear best not at the moment.
Just did the CT one on Sunday, absolute hoot it was(and only £25
) However, using 12 year old crap tyres was not a great idea, caused a few traction
problems even in my old car. Highly recommend a worn out set for the tests, and swap back to good ones for the journey home. If you can.... (saw a
caterham carrying a set of 4 track tyres going round the M25 Sunday morning, so can be done)
Me and my bro may be there.
Looking forward to some good action!

I did an Autosolo at North Weald a couple of weekends ago - great fun! I had been intending to put my new wheels with nearly-new tyres on the day
before then decided against... after seeing the state of the old tyres afterwards, I'm glad.
Enjoy yourselves
Look, ma, no helmet! Yikes...
