anyone fancy a run up to the lakes early next year, around march time? i live on the a6 between j35 and j36 m6 so could easily meet up with the PASA
guys. there is a market square with various shops and a couple of pubs and a burger van in the village where i live,so could be an ideal meetings
place! only a few miles to a591 lakes road, which is pretty nice to say the least.
routes can be planned anytime and all suggestions welcome.
Im be up for it.... If I pull my finger out over the Christmas break and get some work done on it
Im in Garstang so its not far at all to the Lakes. Put me down as a 'possible'!
Meet up with the PASA guys, have'nt you heard the stories !?
I'm up for it- i'm a glutton for punishment !!
cheers Keith.
i'd meet up somewhere as long as my R1 conversion is done by then. work seems to be getting in the way.
where abouts are you guys from. im in milnthorpe,so not far from garstang. infact one of our favourite italian restaurants 'quatros' is just on the outskirts. but has changed ownershp so not been for a while
I'd be interested - a nice run up from Blackpool
i'm already in the lakes, ambleside.
if you do plan on coming out this way i would suggest a very early start to dodge the traffic.
I'm up for it Daniel.
Looking forward to getting some use out of the Indy next year.

March? That is months off, is there no decent weather until then or a case of Sorn'ed for winter?
Adrian
Hi daniel if i get the new motor in i will go
It's a case of iva on 1st of feb
Sounds good. How about a Lakes Tour with stopping points but taking in some of the sites and sounds, Hardnot Pass, Wrynose Pass, Honister, The Struggle out of Ambleside, Ambleside to Keswick road via Haweswater, A66 from Cockermouth to Penrith, Whinlatter Pass and the Visitor Centre to name a few. Ime up for it.
Good idea mike. Sounds good
Im up for it
Sounds like a plan. Just need to find me some new transport
Should have all my winter jobs done by then
Count me in
RD
Spring - sounds a while off, but I'm certainly up for it! - except in March - I'll be in Australia! (feb29th - mar28th). Not taking the
kit, though - bit big for carry-on baggage
We will be about but I doubt if jeep could keep up with all these pokey locosts
If any "real men" (should read real foolish men) are interested in camping a friend runs a small and cheap campsite at Hesket Newmarket
within walking distance of the Old Crown Inn famous for its beer made in the brewery round the back, owned by coop of interested villagers. Some
cracking roads round here too- Mungrisdale, Sandale Bank etc which make a good alternative route on way back. In the event of any mechanical disasters
we might be able to assist too.

I'm up for it as long as I can be bothered to get the winter jobs done.. started today with the cosmetic upgrades to scuttle and dash.
Need to get underneath as the sump is goosed just now
This may give me a date to finish it and I'll come along as long as theres no salt on the roads!
this sounds good - id like to go depending on dates due to work etc - tour sounds good long distance is best - stop offs for food etc. route map, as
an advisor, nothing formal - just suggestions with a definite start and finish point and a defo lunch stop to meet up half way. leaves it open for
peeps to come and go as they need.
maybe a sat nav route worked out available to download, or an autoroute map.
pencil me in
iva on 21st feb so hopefully can get passed and registered in march
