I like going to Newlands for the bacon rolls on a Sunday but for me in North London it's an boring hour round the M25. Ace Cafe is much nearer and has the right atmosphere but it's not exactly in the country.
Is there anywhere nice we could meet a bit North of the M25 and between the M1 and M11 ? Adequate parking and coffee/ bacon rolls a must.

I took a run out to the Hendon RAF museum this morning. NW9 5LL. Wonderful museum - well worth a visit. Unfortunately you have to pay £2.50 for parking and a coffee and slice of cake cost me £5.60 although the museum itself is free. It doesn't open until 10am.

Would be good for a one-off club excursion but maybe not for regular runs.
