Any events this month ?
Rob Lane - 15/9/04 at 07:52 AM

I have the car taxed till end of this month when I take it off the road until next spring. I'm a wuss, I know

Are there any events as such this month?

If there's nothing of any import then I'll start some of the work I want to do before it gets too cold to work out front of garage.

Rob Lane - 16/9/04 at 07:23 AM

Right that's it then, off the road it is !!

Ho hum, time to turn boiler back on for heating and warm towels in a morning.

MMmmm nice warm garage (Boiler's in there)

Don't Wuss me 'Deany C' I keep ringing you but you never ring back, boo hoo

bob - 16/9/04 at 08:38 AM

He's like that,he never calls

LOL

Rob,the only event i can find is the normous newark auto-jumble 26th sept, this is ok if you fancy a rumage through the boxes i suppose.

As for the central heating,i'll hang it out a bit longer It costs a lot of money to live down here so we just put another jumper on and see if we can get to christmas before lighting the fire

Rob Lane - 16/9/04 at 08:51 AM

But the towels are still damp in a morning

That Dean C leads everyone on, he's always making dates the old slapper

Newarks Ok but admission cost is so high now that unless you have something specific in mind it's damn expesive at £8.
Last time I went I spent £3 with £8 admission

Errr, tax runs out end of Sept

I've decided to take car off road and start work on it.

The Immobiliser unit I ordered has arrived and I'm looking at which way I want the car to operate for ignition, starting etc,

DEAN C. - 19/9/04 at 08:58 AM

"cost of living" & "warm garages" Youll be moaning about damp and the state of your old bones next,"now wheres my kneeling mat gone?"

When I were a lad (jeez I hate saying that) we used to pass the local girls school. They would play netball with their tops tucked into their blue knickers even up to 6th form level.

Imagine that nowadays in the PC world, the powers that be would have us done for 'pervin'.

bob - 27/9/04 at 06:10 PM

I met mrs bob when she was playing netballsay no more.

i wouldnt like to pass a girls school though ouch that hurt!!
