Right then - just started phoning a few places in the Reigate area. Thought a Pub might be nice and festive, and lots of good parking. First one I
spoke to sounds good, and looking around at reviews on the web seems to have great food:

They do a three course set Christmas Dinner, with choices in each course, including Turkey for the mains. for £17.95. We would give them our choices
in advance - probably with a deposit. They would sit us at two tables next to each other.
This may not be very locost, but personally I would much rather pay a little more, and sit in a nice place and get good festive food, than in an
'ethnic' restuarant with no atmosphere and lots of MSG - sorry John!!
If we want somewhere nice, and near Christmas, we will need to book it fairly soon.
A couple of Pubs are gonna fax me menu's, I'll post them when I get them.

Have to say I agree with Jasp on the location situation- as you won't be drinking Conrod it seems silly for you to be the only one in a situation
not to drive.
On those grounds though it ought to be in Guildford as more members live there than anywhere else!

Skimmington castle isnt very far from box hill so not too bad for all of us,very easy for polo rad dave
