PPC forum trackday @ Blyton, Friday September 20th
fha772 - 11/2/13 at 06:07 PM

Hi all,

I'm starting to organise a trackday on the PPC forum, if anyone here is interested, here's a link:
http://www.ppcmag.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=10882

It will be on Friday September 20th, I will know the exact date in the next couple of weeks, once I've confirmed the booking.

It will be £100 per, and we're looking at 30-35 cars max.
If needed, camping the night before is £10 per plot/tent.

Anyone interested, can contact me either through here, or the PPC forum, a £40 deposit is required to book your place.

Cheers Frank.

Jon Ison - 11/2/13 at 08:00 PM

Once you have a confirmed date I'd be very surprised if I wasn't up to taking a spot, Blyton always good value for money.

fha772 - 11/2/13 at 08:28 PM

I'm hoping to have the date by just after next weekend.

Thought you might Jon, you 'track slapper'

I'll be there

bi22le - 12/2/13 at 12:44 PM

Just watched a couple of videos to see what it is like there. Blyton is anti-clockwise!

Thats very unusual.

Go on, name another anti-clockwise track!

I may be interested come september if I still have money, a working car and a social life (kid due in May!)

[Edited on 12/2/13 by Andy D]

fha772 - 12/2/13 at 04:08 PM

I've been on the phone to the guys at Blyton.

It is now pencilled in for Friday September 20th.

And because of that they have over taking on the right which takes a bit of getting used to...

I could be persuaded to come along. I like Blyton.

That means ill have to get used to staying well over to the left in my Merc then!!

fha772 - 23/2/13 at 07:37 PM

This is now fully confirmed, it will be on Friday 20th September, there is camping the night before.
It is £100 per car, and £10 per plot for camping, a £40 deposit will secure your place.

You can either contact me via U2U on here, or via PM on the PPC forum, for payment details to secure your place.
Or you can contact Kate Miller at PPC, using the contact details on the PPC in the Park page.

More details are on the PPC forum...
http://www.ppcmag.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=10882

This will be advertised in the April issue of PPC, so don't leave it too later as there are limited places, as we want to keep the numbers low, so everyone gets plenty of track time.

Cheers Frank.

hobbsy - 23/2/13 at 07:52 PM

Tempted. Think I'm back in the uk around then...

If its a 40 quid deposit to secure a place when is the balance due... Just read Plc post - 1st week in Aug, fair enough. Only reasoning asking as my visit dates won't be confirmed til closer to the time.

[Edited on 23/2/13 by hobbsy]

adithorp - 23/2/13 at 09:46 PM

Think I'll make it to this. u2u sent for the payment details.

fha772 - 23/2/13 at 10:36 PM

U2U replied

That's another place booked!!!
See you at Blyton Adrian!!

jossey - 24/2/13 at 08:56 AM

Why is camping charged....

They never charge anyone at the muddy circle side....

It will be on Friday September 20th, I will know the exact date in the next couple of weeks, once I've confirmed the booking.

It will be £100 per, and we're looking at 30-35 cars max.
If needed, camping the night before is £10 per plot/tent.

fha772 - 24/2/13 at 10:47 AM

There's a £10, to cover the cost of somebody being on site, and the cost opening and cleaning the shower block, and something towards the hot water.
That's what Richard told me.

Volvorsport - 24/2/13 at 12:10 PM

if i booked it would actually mean i have to work on something .......hmmmmm

is there a cut off date...for the deposit ?

fha772 - 24/2/13 at 12:31 PM

The only cut off dates we have are:
A) When all the places are booked.
B) We need payment in full by the first week in August, as that's when I have to go and give them the final payment.

Beyond that there's no specific dates, it's just first come first served.

fha772 - 24/2/13 at 01:13 PM

That's another space filled, thanks Hobbsy.

fha772 - 15/3/13 at 12:12 PM

We've now got 15 spaces confirmed, with another 6 waiting for deposits.

This will be advertised in the April issue of PPC.

Is anyone else interested in this, before it is advertised in the mag?

fha772 - 24/3/13 at 11:21 AM

Another couple of places have been booked, is anyone else interested, before it's in the mag?

fha772 - 25/3/13 at 05:37 PM

I've now got 21 places booked, a big thanks to LaptopRob and his 7 mates!!!

It looks like you've all got another month before it's in PPC, seeing as they seem to have forgot to announce it in the news section like they said they was...

Is anyone else interested?

(At this rate, it's going to have to be changed to the LocostBuilders' trackday!!! )

No probs Frank, looking forward to it but just hoping the weather holds out!

fha772 - 29/3/13 at 12:48 PM

Rob, I think we're going to have an Indian summer this year, it'll be lovely (fingers crossed!!).

I've now got 22 confirmed places, there's only 13 left!!!

Is anyone else interested?

Yes youre right Frank...must think positive thoughts. Its going to be a red hot September

fha772 - 22/4/13 at 06:08 PM

It's in this issue of PPC...

There's only 12 spaces left!!

fha772 - 5/5/13 at 07:12 AM

I'll be at PPCitP, on Friday night, and Saturday, if anyone here is going and wants to secure 1 of the last few spaces, or if anyone who has booked wants to pay the balance.

Just look for my red Mercedes, or see the guys on the PPC stand.

[Edited on 5/5/13 by fha772]

fha772 - 8/5/13 at 03:51 PM

There's only 11 places left now folks!!!

Be quick before they're all gone!!!

fha772 - 31/5/13 at 10:42 PM

There's now 8 places left, I need to fill at least 3 spaces for the day to break even.
Is anyone else interested?
PM me if you are...

fha772 - 6/6/13 at 03:53 PM

There's now only 5 places left, the day has broke even!!

As I've said before, with the other 5 places sold there will be a £500 excess, at the end of the day, if there has not been any unexpected expenses, what ever money is left over will be split and refunded back. Which means the day will have cost £86ish each.

Is there anymore takers?

daniel mason - 6/6/13 at 05:08 PM

im up for it. my mate unijacko67 may be.ill have to ask him. and possibly my uncle. can you pm me with info/details? cheers

fha772 - 6/6/13 at 05:42 PM

You'll be the last place (I think), I'll hold the place for the time being.

Jon Ison - 7/6/13 at 05:37 AM

Thank you, will defiantly be able to take the place, catch you as soon as I get back.

Neadles - 7/6/13 at 08:03 PM

Should be a good day I'm now confirm to go as well thanks Frank!

fha772 - 10/6/13 at 08:03 AM

Hi all,

It now looks like all 35 places are taken (pending a couple of people sending their deposits once they are back home).

I'd like to say a BIG thank you, to everyone who's coming along, and hopefully it will be a cracking day.

If everything goes well, I will be trying to organise another trackday(I must be mad!!), but I'll see how the day goes first.

Cheers Frank.

Ps, if anyone drops out I will post here to let you know

adithorp - 10/6/13 at 10:51 AM

Thanks for organising this. I imagine it's more work than it appears on the surface.

Is there any chance of putting a list of entrants on here? The link to the PPC forum doesn't seem to work and I haven't managed to get on any other way either.

daniel mason - 11/6/13 at 09:07 PM

me and andrew jackson are booked (unijacko 67). never been to blyton and couldnt pass on this at the price!

fha772 - 12/6/13 at 02:18 PM

It's not been too much work, luckily Richard at Blyton was very helpful, and made it all as easy as possible.

I will post a list of entrants, as soon as I sort it fully.
But at the minute I'm a bit busy getting myself organised for my road trip through the Pyrenees to Le Mans.
Once I'm back from that, I'll be back on with the track day.

Judging by how it's all going at the minute, I will be organising another one, I've really enjoyed the experience.
I've even emailed a few other circuits to find out about prices.
Looking at the replies so far, it can be done at some other circuits, but with an increase in numbers to keep the price low, but they are all bigger circuits than Blyton, so I think they can accommodate upto 45-50 cars.

But we shall see, I think the next day will be back at Blyton.

daniel mason - 12/6/13 at 04:43 PM

oulton park! i think there are 60 cars on the msvt day next tuesday!

Neadles - 12/6/13 at 05:10 PM

I'll second Oulton Park thats on my to do list this year but is expensive

daniel mason - 12/6/13 at 07:02 PM

£206 next tuesday but its booked up i think. i didnt think it was too bad!

Jon Ison - 12/6/13 at 07:26 PM

back in UK brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr its cold, how do I pay ?

daniel mason - 12/6/13 at 07:32 PM

youve missed the best 10 days of uk weather i can remember for a few years. sadly yesterday its all gone downhill. but i got burnt bad on sunday messing with the car! red back white belly at moment

Jon Ison - 12/6/13 at 07:54 PM

I can see that, chucked a load of grass seed down before we left, its not budged.

Jon Ison - 12/6/13 at 08:22 PM

Paid

just looking at the news seems we where lucky to get home on time, French air traffic controllers on strike, guess we flew around them.....

Neadles - 12/6/13 at 09:55 PM

quote:

Well I'm a tight Yorkshire man so its obviously expensive

Won't make one this month will be July for me!

fha772 - 12/6/13 at 10:24 PM

I think I've sent emails to Oulton, Cadwell, Mallory, and Donington.
I'm just waiting for replies, it all depends on wether or not they are willing to run a "club day", where they provide the track support (Marshals, medics, etc...)
It's all a case of how much they want, and how many cars we can have on track without it being too crowded, so the price can stay as cheap as possible for everyone.
Blyton does seem ideal for this sort of thing, because its a good track, and isn't owned by some massive company, the guy you deal with is the guy who owns it, and he's passionate about cars.

chris_harris_ - 14/6/13 at 02:36 PM

If a space becomes available please could you let me know. I would be interested in coming along.
Thanks

daniel mason - 14/6/13 at 04:26 PM

what about a locostbuilders hillclimb day? wscc, lotus 7 club and others use venues. harewoods a fantastic venue

fha772 - 4/7/13 at 01:52 PM

Hi all,

Thanks for everyone's support for this day.
I just thought if post a little reminder to everyone, please remember I need the balance paying by the first week of August, as I've got to pay in full the following week.

Also, can anyone who wants to camp the night before please let me know, so I can give the guys at Blyton a rough idea on numbers.

Cheers Frank.

daniel mason - 4/7/13 at 08:19 PM

rdodger - 6/7/13 at 11:47 AM

I don't know if it's been mentioned already but Total Kit car live is the next day Sat 21st Sept. Might be worth staying for that?

http://www.totalkitcarlive.com/

daniel mason - 12/8/13 at 07:25 PM

anyone know the situation with this day!
my deposits paid but heard nothing for ages regarding payment, camping, times etc etc! cheers

fha772 - 12/8/13 at 08:10 PM

Hi Daniel,

The day is still going ahead, sorry I've not been in contact but I've been flat out with my 2 businesses, and been trying to help sort the mess that the PPC forum has become since it was hacked.
I will post more details here once I've been to see Richard at Blyton in the next couple of weeks.
As far as it stands at the minute, you can turn up the day before from about 3pm for camping, I won't be getting there until about 7pm though, and if you want to stop on for the kit car show on Saturday, then that will be fine.
Beyond that, I haven't got much else to tell you.

Oh yes, there is 1 more thing, I need the balance from everyone, in the next week, so I've got the cash to pay the balance when I go to see Richard.
Most people have already paid but there are still a handful outstanding.

Cheers Frank.

daniel mason - 12/8/13 at 08:42 PM

thanks mate. i wasnt having a go. just wondering the situation! cheers

fha772 - 12/8/13 at 09:06 PM

Frank - is there anything else I need to do in order to transfer my place? Apologies for the inconvenience.

fha772 - 22/8/13 at 07:10 AM

No, I'm ok, but there was a bit of panic here when I received £60 from somebody who's name I hadn't got on the list!!
That's all fine, I've just got 3 people that I need to contact, then I'm sorted.
Cheers Frank.

adithorp - 22/8/13 at 07:26 AM

mines one of the cheaper early ones with 1100cc engine. its a loy smaller and more agile than the sr3,and better for hillclimbing and sprinting, but doesnt have the high speed downforce. you can get downforce levels close to the pr6 for not massive money but not really worth it with this engine. dont mind you doing a couple of laps in it if you promise not to crash!

laptoprob - 22/8/13 at 05:49 PM

Nice offer Dan and will take you up on it thank you. Will swap you a few laps in mine. Not as glorious as yours but just got back from the dyno with 262hp on Monday so it goes well enough

daniel mason - 22/8/13 at 06:33 PM

i dont think id be safe with that power. mines around half that power i think!
i might do a couple of steady laps but more than likely passenger with you! id hate to bump your car
if you need any info on the clubsport then let me know as ive collected a bit of info whilst searching for a year or 2! i also know of another for sale with quite a few nice bits on it. it will be less than the cost of your tiger too. see you soon mate

But now i know they cost this i may consider one v.soon.

fha772 - 26/8/13 at 11:34 AM

I dunno if anybody on here can help me, I've got 2 people I'm struggling to contact, mainly because most of the info I had was either lost when the PPC forum got hacked, or when my PC got a virus.

The 2 people that I need to contact are;
1, a guy who was on the PPC forum as StevieB, but I've lost his contact details.
2, Mark Jackson, who I think is on here, but I'm not 100% sure.

They're the last 2, I'm not picking on them, I just don't know how to contact them to remind them about it.

Cheers Frank.

owelly - 26/8/13 at 12:17 PM

I've got contacts for Mark and StevieB. Leave it with me matey.

fha772 - 26/8/13 at 12:50 PM

Cheers Mr O!!!!

StevieB - 26/8/13 at 10:10 PM

I'm the guilty one!

I've Ben trying to check in on the PPC orum for a while but it's not Ben working and I not frequent this forum much anymore.

However, Owelly dropped me a text to le me know and I'll make payments of both myself and Jackson this week.

Cheers

Steve

fha772 - 27/8/13 at 06:46 AM

Ok Cheers, see you at Blyton!!

You should have the payment in PayPal for myself and Mark Jackson now Frank - apologies for the lateness!

Steve

fha772 - 29/8/13 at 09:42 PM

No panic mate, I've got it now
That's pretty much everyone paid up, it looks like it's about time I booked that flight to Rio...

fha772 - 3/9/13 at 09:38 PM

A bit of an update, I've fully paid for the day now!!
I will have a few details about camping in the next day or so.
See you soon!!

Edit; I wondered if anybody is interested in having an instructor on hand for the day, this can be covered by the money I've got left over, so won't cost any extra.
I didn't know if anyone would like to have an instructor there to give a few pointers if required.

[Edited on 3/9/13 by fha772]

unijacko67 - 3/9/13 at 10:03 PM

I would welcome a few pointers, but first run out in the car so might be adjusting things all day.
Don't do it just for me, but if an instructor is there it might be ok.

[Edited on 3/9/13 by unijacko67]

laptoprob - 4/9/13 at 06:18 AM

I would like a spin round with an instructor.Been to Blyton loads but would welcome some advice on how to get round quicker

fha772 - 4/9/13 at 03:50 PM

A quick message about camping, anyone who wants to camp can pretty much turn up any time after lunch on Thursday, it's £10 per pitch, per night, and you can stay on friday night for the kit car show on Saturday.

unijacko67 - 5/9/13 at 10:21 PM

How much fuel are we likely to need for one of these track days.

owelly - 5/9/13 at 11:17 PM

Fast cars can lap the circuit in around a minute, or just over. So lets say 80seconds per lap to allow for folks to drive around me. The circuit is 1.6 miles. How many miles/gallon does your car do.....?

Jon Ison - 5/9/13 at 11:21 PM

Last time there my car consumed 80 litres. It's thirsty I like track time.

Whatever road mpg you get at least 1/2 it.

unijacko67 - 5/9/13 at 11:27 PM

I'm not sure what mpg the car does when ringing its neck or how many laps we may be allowed or even want to do. Just a rough idea what amounts of fuel to take for a 2ltr standard ish car. I would like to try a few different settings so might be less track time than some, I think 80ltrs would be a good start with full tank as I can always use it later. Cheers

[Edited on 5/9/13 by unijacko67]

Nickp - 6/9/13 at 06:08 AM

In the past, with our MR2 V6, we've arrived with a full tank and have to refill again by lunch. That is with 2 drivers running constantly with about 15-20 mins for brakes to cool in between. Always costs more in fuel than the day itself.

daniel mason - 6/9/13 at 06:11 AM

i always take a full tank. 2 x full 20 litre jerry jerry cans and my 2 smaller 5 litre cans in case. ive never been close to running out although ive never had a full days running with no issues.
its open pitlane so you can just keep on going round as much as you want!

Jon Ison - 6/9/13 at 06:15 AM

There is petrol available about 10 mins drive away so you can pop out at lunch if need be.

laptoprob - 6/9/13 at 03:26 PM

One of our clan cant make it so i have a spare place going if anyone wants it.

fha772 - 6/9/13 at 08:53 PM

Right then, I need to get as many people's opinions as possible, do we want an ARDS instructor in the day?
I need to have an answer by Tuesday at the latest to book the instructor.

I know I could benefit from a few pointers, what about the rest of you?

owelly - 6/9/13 at 08:55 PM

I wouldn't be able to hear what he/she said!!

daniel mason - 6/9/13 at 09:07 PM

frank. if there is any money left over and you dont want to pocket it. (i wouldn't mind if you do for arranging such a well priced event)
then i think an instructor would be good.we are all there all day,so if we all get a slot at any time of day that would be an added bonus! cheers

unijacko67 - 6/9/13 at 09:12 PM

I could use a few pointers, but will be more than happy to learn from following other cars (or trying) if not much interest.

Thanks for organising this event by the way, cheers.

Jon Ison - 6/9/13 at 09:19 PM

I'll buck the trend, "big breakfast" in the new canteen.

unijacko67 - 7/9/13 at 12:35 AM

+1 for the breakfast...........

daniel mason - 7/9/13 at 06:36 AM

Fun!!!!! I had a nightmare of a day Adi.

My car is just not cut out run in the wet at all where as yours seemed fine

unijacko67 - 8/9/13 at 04:58 PM

That does look very wet, are Toyo Proxes T1r tyres any good in the wet, or any recommends.

daniel mason - 8/9/13 at 05:05 PM

ive got a set of dunlop wets. as do a fair few others. but not tried them yet!

adithorp - 8/9/13 at 05:28 PM

L was running on 888s that day

unijacko67 - 8/9/13 at 09:47 PM

I've got A048's, are they ok in the wet?

daniel mason - 9/9/13 at 06:18 AM

they wont be great andrew!
i was always lighting up the rears even on damp roads with them on. they are a very good tyre but not ideal when wet. youll still be able to use them ok but with that power youll need to be careful!

adithorp - 9/9/13 at 06:46 AM

I've found Blyton's surface to be quite grippy when wet compared to other tracks... and there's plenty of run-off. The problem with 888/048 is the difference between wet and dry performance that can catch you out.

888's are OK in damp conditions (especially if they're already warm when it rains) and ok in the wet. They're not good in standing water, though I wouldn't worry about the odd puddle on track; The scary thing is stretches of standing water on a motorway.. 048's are similar but some have said they find them to be not quite as good in the wet.

Yoko' 021's (wet treaded 048soft) are good in the wet and survive quite well in the dry. If you're on 15" or above you can consider Toyo R1r's (basically an 888 with more cuts). T1r's are just a road tyre and some say not really suited to a light car (others swear by them).

Neadles - 9/9/13 at 12:31 PM

I am looking forward to the day, fingers crossed dry I've only got 888's left for the year.

I'm always up for some instruction, got a lot from Tim last time I was at Blyton!

owelly - 9/9/13 at 01:21 PM

I have a set of slicks or if it rains, bald A048s.....and a kagool.

Yes still up for grabs.

U2U sent.

fha772 - 10/9/13 at 09:12 AM

2 SPACES HAVE JUST BECOME AVAILABLE!!!!!

Right then, as of about 5 minutes ago, I have spaces to fill.
If anyone is interested, send me a U2U.

fha772 - 11/9/13 at 06:18 AM

Quick update:

1, Their will be a photographer at trackside throughout the day, if anyone wants any pictures of their car on track.

2, there are still 2 places left, if anyone's interested.

Cheers Frank.

fha772 - 12/9/13 at 02:48 PM

I take it there's no takers for these 2 space places?

That's a shame, it doesn't look like there's going to be much surplus cash.

It's funny though, I must have had 15-20 people contact me once I'd announced all the places were full, to tell me they were desperate to come, and let them know if ever a place was free, no matter how late...

adithorp - 12/9/13 at 03:43 PM

I take it you u2u'd them.

Might be worth starting a new "Blyton PPC day - 2 places left" thread as not everyone spots new posts on old threads.

fha772 - 13/9/13 at 07:34 AM

I've just received an email from Richard, laying out the timetable for the day...

HI Frank,

Here is the timetable:

8.00 am : Signing on

9.00 am : Safety Briefing

9.30 am : Sighting laps

10.00 am - 12.30 pm : Open Pit Lane

12.30- 1.30 pm : Lunch Break

1.30 - 5.00 pm : Open pit lane.

5.00 Pm : Chequered Flag.

If we have lots of novices , it might be good to have a half hour early on
when the track is for novices only ?

Breakfast will be available from 7.30 am and lunch from Midday. Please ask
all participants to avoid the temptations of McDonalds or curled up garage
sandwiches. Our food is all locally sourced and entirely proper !!!

Very best

Richard.

fha772 - 19/9/13 at 09:25 AM

Well, it's bad news for me, my Merc isn't going to be running now , so I'm asking if anyone's passenger seats are free, I'll be looking for a ride or 2

Jon Ison - 19/9/13 at 09:46 AM

your more than welcome to share a few laps in the isonblade, look forward to meeting you all tomorrow, looking out the window right now its peeing down but its forecast to pass by this evening then warm up............

Sorry to hear that Frank.
You are more than welcome to accompany me throughout the day.

adithorp - 19/9/13 at 11:09 AM

Your're welcome to a few laps in mine. It has a slightly better balance around Blyton with some ballast in the passenger seat anyway, even if that does blunt the speed slightly.

owelly - 19/9/13 at 11:10 AM

Bring skinny shoes if you want to play in the Turd. B-)

fha772 - 19/9/13 at 11:11 AM

Thanks guys, I'm more than happy to be ballast ( I'm quite good at that), if it helps the handling

Jon Ison - 19/9/13 at 01:56 PM

Save me trawling the whole thread is there a link to print indemnity forms off ?

matty h - 19/9/13 at 06:00 PM

Is this trackday open to the pubic finish work at 11.30 so may come have a look.

adithorp - 19/9/13 at 06:11 PM

Never been to one that wasn't open and free to spectators. Blyton is usually open access. Usually a small fee (organisers discretion I think) for a passenger wristband then you can blag some rides.

StevieB - 19/9/13 at 08:49 PM

I'm looking forward to it now - all set and ready to go on my first Trackday in this particular car.

Not going to get there for the early signing on and briefing though, so hopefully this won't be a problem?

Been late looooaaadds of times

Never been a problem once. They will brief you on your own.

laptoprob - 20/9/13 at 06:27 PM

Big thanks to Frank for organising today.

Turned out an awesome day with some lovely cars turning up. Nice to see the usual faces and some new ones.

Still chasing John Ison in his super quick car...dont think i will ever get round him

Tazzzzman1 - 20/9/13 at 06:36 PM

Yes it's a great track.
Fid a track day there last week as I couldn't make today. Did the Mazda on track day. Loads of different cars as well as the obligatory MX5's. Even had a Ferrari on track which I managed to lap 3 times...really satisfying
Posted the video earlier (Put together by Mike at Roadrunner) but should give yu some idea. First track day for me....won't be the last

DanG - 20/9/13 at 08:07 PM

Was a great day.

My first track day - and it was awesome!

So glad I didn't look slow.

The photographer got some great photos of my side flame thrower.

Certainly got the track day bug

fha772 - 7/11/13 at 08:45 AM

Does anyone know anything about the orange 7 that was at Blyton?
The 1 with a rollbar, not laptoprob's caged 1.

I just need to know; model/make, owner, engine+bhp.

It's for a picture caption.

Cheers Frank.

StevieB - 7/11/13 at 01:31 PM

Was it a westfield?

And did it look like this:

What sort of picture caption?

Like: wanted, dead or alive?

Steve, you were on a PPC Forum trackday. You should expect to see your car in the mag and for them to get the details wrong.

BTW I don't think Frank had owt to do with pics or captions, he was just the one that organised a cracking day out for us all, so maybe you need to point the finger elsewhere

It says Westfield

I know it shouldn't bother me (and apologies if its sounds like a daft rant).

I'll go away now

[Edited on 28/11/13 by StevieB]

owelly - 28/11/13 at 06:49 PM

I only asked as I recently viewed a car that had West Field on the V5 and wondered what a proper one should say!

It actually says 'Westfield 1600 CVH' as the make, which'll no doubt be a bitch to sort of i ever go for the zetec transplant.

That's yet another worry I don't need to have though

EDIT; Steve, I've sent you a U2U, sorry for any upset it may have caused, but I had nothing to do with that picture spread.
But I'll bear it in mind, and if anyone doesn't want their car pictured in the mag after the next day, then let me know, and I'll pass the info on to the mag.

Nah, it's my apology to give.

The fact is I have issues - I could easily have reacted to having a highlighter pen missing from my set at work. It's something I'm working on.

It's actually a good piccy in the mag too
