My mate who lives in Ackworth says there is a large fence round the outside of the pub and skips in the car park...........looks like they are renovating the place, don't know if they are open though.

OK, just tried ringing Beverley Arms / Friar Tucks on 01977 615945 to check if they're open. Number is not recognised. Weather's looking a bit dodgy as well

Have checked today, Beverley Arms is closed for refurb.
There is The Angel which has a large car park about quarter of amile past Beverley Arms heading towards Wakefield

Yes, The Pub is shut, They didn't let me know - B@st@rds!

Anyway the new venue is confirmed as the Angel about 1/2 mile from on the road towards Wakefield, big pub on your right.

Signs will be posted on the fences at Friar Tucks to catch any straglers.

See You there, Unfortuneately the change of venue means that the stripper has been diverted (to my house, when our lass is out)
