I think the Saturday is normally a practice day for the racing on the Sunday.

I find Sunday is the better day, i might be going myself time permitting

id imagine before 09:00 until 17:00 as there are loads of cars!
one point though. if you have a big family,bring packed lunces at at £7 a sandwich your wallet will be a fair bit lighter
