Don't forget that the Yorkshire meets are currently At The Angel, Ackworth, about 500 yards from the usual meeting place at The Beverleys arms (or whatever they changed the name to)on the A628/A638 roundabout, towards Wakefield on the A638.

This months Meet is at 7.30pm this Wednesday he 12th of January, we need someone versed in "modern" music for the quiz, as I believe that music reached it's peek in 1989 and I haven't listened to any since!!

Actually I might give the quiz a miss this time, we barely escaped with our lives last time, although me and the other Chris walking round the pub making the "L" sign on our foreheads and shouting "Looooooooosers" at the top our voices can't have helped.

Oh yes they're a bit touchy in Ackworth.....................

An interesting question.

The language involved is usually quite agricultural, mainly because there are no ladies present.

I suppose if a lady were present people might curb their cursing, the thing is, would that spoil it for others?

People do say that it's the only time that they get away from the wife.

The only reason I ask is because our lass helped to build the car, so is nearly as involved in it as I am. She came to the Locost Car Club AGM with me also this year!

I also don't like getting lost on my own....

And I wouldn't worry about the swearing with Grahams' wife!

i agree, it was a stupid quiz, although i did suggest dalmatia was further afield than austria would'nt have got us to 29 though
