Exeter is getting closer?!?
Mark Allanson - 7/11/02 at 10:33 PM

I am going up to Exeter (with a load of interested lads from work) on Saturday, and the other (known) member of the cornish contingent, Tim Goodwin is going up on Sunday.

How members are going to attend, and on what day? We have got to meet up, and compare builds. Is there a locost area? Is there a special password? Do we have to wear a red rose and stand under the clock an midday?

Any suggestions

Mark

Mark, running around the Robin Hood stand, backwards, buttfuck naked with an axle stand sticking out of your arse should get you noticed. That way the rest of us can avoid you like the pague.

Seriously though, the Exeter show is not that big so we definately need to get together and drink beer.

There has always been a Locost Car Club representation when I've been there. Maybe we could meet there. Haven't decided which day I'm going yet, probably Saturday.

I believe the mafia is coming down on sunday, (good thing or bad I don't know)

I'll be down on sunday as well as it allows a little more time for me to get back into the country.

Off to Las Vegas on this sunday, it's a hard life this work malarky.

Take care dan.

I should be there, don't know which day.

I am going on sunday. I'm a virgin to the club/meeting scene and would like to meet/chat with fellow builders.

You'll wish you hadn't once you've met a few of us!

I'll be there on Saturday with the Grandfather-in-law and fellow builder, buying seats for one.

Anybody wanna set up a meet point and time who knows the place?

Hi Dan,

If you're off to Vegas take a gander at the Venetian Hotel. As you go through the main doors look up - amazing. Then make your way to the 3rd floor where they have 1/4 mile of canals and St Marks square with open skies and daylight. That really plays with your mind at 1:00 AM when pissed up.

Fancy drinking for free? If you sit at a slot machine and occasionally stick in quarter you can drink for free. Well nearly, it will cost you the odd quarter and a tip for the waitress. I've done a lot of trade shows in Vegas and the duty manager at the Mirage told me they needed to clear $1.2 million a day just to keep the place running. The free drinks are there to keep you in their hotel. There are no clocks in the casinos and they pump oxygen enriched air in the wee small hours to stop you flagging. If you have been to Vegas before then I'm probably doing the granny and egg sucking routine. If you haven't been you'll be amazed by the scale of it all.
Have fun but keep away from the old part of town, thats where the naughty girls are.
