'750 Club is going to arrange a Locost Rally at the Silverstone Race Meeting
over the August Bank Holiday.This is for all Locosts-Road and Race, built to
Ron Champions original conception and with any engine/gearbox configuration
if a road car. At the moment there is a possibility of the cancelled Mallory
Races being added to the Saturday programme and the idea is to have a
barbecue on the Saturday night and invite the Marshals. There will be an
announcement in the Bulletin-details have yet to be worked out but the aim
is to have a gathering of all Locosters!, road cars, race cars and drivers
from previous years in Locost Racing, a Paddock display, Prizes for Best
Built etc and a Track Parade on Sunday morning. Would appreciate any ideas
and hope those on the Locost Committee can help with detail and on the day.
