Just booked on a track day,at rockingham international race circuit,on sunday the 13th of november, drove the circuit last year, and I would say it was
the best track I have driven to date, its got a bit of everything, you even get to drive on part of the banked oval section, complete with concrete wall

,the day is booked though "bookatrack.com" have a look on there webb site for details, but in sumary, if any one is interested in
going, its £160 for the day, open pit lane, you even get a pit garage, which leads you straight out onto the pit lane/track,great for spectating
aswell, from the platform on top of the pit garages, you can see the whole race track.
Sounds good Paul, only problem is - without a trailer, it's a fair way to drive to Rockingham in the Indy, thrash it around the track and drive
it back home. It's a bit risky!!
We are however, on the lookout for a reasonably priced trailer. We'll probably go either way, to participate or spectate
id love to go, but being that far id probably have to come down the day before. It would be a 5am rise to get signed on at 8!
Hellfire, if you have the tow vehicle i have a trailer you could borrow........
now what you gonna do ?

its tempting paul
im still paranoid about the noise, at elvington they were a bit slack and never tested me, but this one is 2dbs less. But the
pitlane and garage sounds nice!
You will have no problems with noise at rockingham Joel,I had a carbon race can last time I was there, they did not even check me,or anyone on the day,its in the middle of a industrial estate, miles away from any housing.
tempting
it would be good if i could borrow my mates transporter again, was a lot of use at elvington (since the car broke!). I lent him my van the
other day so its a distinct possibility!
provisional premission from the missus!
just need to persuade a few pals to come too
do you happen to know if there are many places left?
Still a few places left price has gone up a fiver though, they seem to do this bookatrack as the event starts to get booked up
twat website has crashed, just as i tried to book
damn. Have to keep trying i guess...

Still a few places left on sunday, weather forcast is looking
but we will keep our fingers crossed.
sorry paul, im jinxed for weather
still, we can always hope @
ive told the lads who want to come with me that we're setting off at 0530! cant loose the bastards, they still want to come

weather could not be any worst than elvington the other week, or is saying that tempting fate, are you going down A1 or M1 Joel,me and Tony "mk blade" are going A1 setting off at 6am ish,we could meet up enroute if your going A1 or we will see you down there,we can get a couple of pit garages together, there's enough room for 2 or three cars in each, cheers Paul
hi paul! im aiming for a 5.30 departure, and will be heading down the a1. Pit garage sounds great, have you booked or are you relying on the first
come first served? if you've booked i'll chip in wid ya
I'll u2u you my mobile number. Im not sure how easy it will be to meet up at a specific time and place, my mate is shite at getting out of bed...
i'll be pegging stones at his window at 6 i bet! However, if we arrange somewhere and then i can let you know if im going to make it.
u2u on
its way.
Hi all any photos of Rockingham track day
