Fitted type 9 to zetec understand that the starter i want is of dohc or cvh sierra is this right, and has anybody got one spare for the right price: thanks

I have a 2.0L zetec with a type 9 gearbox and an escort 1.8 16v flywheel/

You need a starter off a 1800 CVH Sierra (Make sure its the pre 1989 model with the Type 9 box as I think they switched to MT75 around Aug 1989.

apparently the sierra 2.0 litre DOHC starter works as well. (I can't comment on the fitment though)
