Can't help I'm afraid. I plan to go with my son in my Westfield, but have an exam board meeting on the Thursday, so will have to set off early Friday morning.

I can pretend to be a teacher depending on how old and attractive your students are

Pat...

Eight of us from the yorkshire group will be in Musee this year.

It's nearer the pub.

Cheers

Chris

Im booking for even more of us this year, about 18 so far. Still waiting to hear from the ACO about the campsite allocation, so will probably end up in parking rouge again!

Which route are you guys taking, and when are you leaving? I'm taking the Portsmouth-Caen overnight crossing on the Thursday (15th), so should arrive at Le Mans mid-moring on the Friday. Anyone else doing this? (I know I'll miss a lot, but I can't get there any earlier.)

Ordered my camping tickets this week (Beausejour) and just sorting the ferry fror Wednesday evening, should get there in the middle of the night.

chrisg - 20/1/06 at 08:24 PM

Were going Portsmouth - st Malo on the wednesday evening and coming back Cherborg - Poole, Monday.

stevebubs - 20/1/06 at 08:36 PM

Think we're doing Newhaven - Dieppe on the Wednesday morning.

Gives us a leisurely drive down, Thursday to sort out food etc, Friday-Sun for fun and races.

Then pack up Monday morning for the drive back....

Stephen

PS apparently it looks like we're in bleu this year

greggors84 - 21/1/06 at 12:42 AM

Going Dover to Bologne again this year, its a long drive but the ferry is only £67 through speed ferries. Even with the extra fuel i think its cheaper. We had a great drive down too last year. Only problem is the sat nav told us to drive round the backstreets of Rouen for about 2 hours so we got there about 11pm just in time to see the last bit of the night practice.

If anyone is going from dover to bologne wednesday morning let us know.

We have a support trailer going down this year too with fitted shower cooker and fridge and massive awning. Have a look out for us if your staying in houx annexe. Its big, blue and yellow.

I am doing speed ferries on Wednesday, but on the 17.40 crossing. Only cost me £19 each way, but I have bought a 10 trip super ticket so that is 2007 sorted too Stick on the dual carriageway round Rouen if you can - it was closed last year when we went so had to detour through the town centre anyway.

greggors84 - 21/1/06 at 10:17 PM

When we were going through Rouen we were on the dual carridge way following loads of sports cars, when out lead car who had the GPS turned off as the nice lady told him to. We just though maybe it knows something no one else does. In the end we just drove round and round the town centre and got back on where we left.

What time are you expecting to get to LeMans?

andyps - 22/1/06 at 10:51 PM

Hopefully will be there about midnight - maybe even in time to see the last of the practice if the new road is open and any good.

speed8 - 26/1/06 at 10:51 AM

Me.....
0700, Thursday morning, speedferries. Staying in Houx. N138 Here we come!!!

Anybody else on that ferry???

The new motorway opened in November I believe so that would be the quick way round but I heard the fuel stops are quite far apart.

skidude88 - 31/1/06 at 01:49 PM

The S.T. was off the Rd (had gone backwards through a hedge a few weeks before)

Just the Laguna, Volvo, Pheonix and an RX8 parked up at Arnarge for lunch.
