Any convoys passing nearby we could join onto on Sunday?

Weather permitting I hope to go down on Sunday, is one Tiger from North Wales a start of a convoy !

As there's some coming from Shrewsbury, and some from Drayton, how about small groups from each town (and anyone else who fancies it) meeting at The Bell Inn on the A41 just off junction 3 of the M54 (next door to the petrol station)?

Ideal for MikeLR who can take the A41 or A5 .

Any ideas on times?

If you all time it right you might end up in convoy on the last leg with the Huge convoy from NE down thro yorkshire

i can do anytime, on the way back too, but i would prefere to drive back in daylight.

Be abit wary on the way into and out of Stoneleigh lads, it won't be the first time that plod has been there with his camera....

Last year we left quite early... after speaking to everyone and looking round the stalls getting what you need, theres not that much to do, Im looking forward to the drive there and back more than anything else.... oh and seeing everyone of course.

im going to be upset now as I missed out

nice to meet a good bunch of car owners, i didnt really talk to anyone other than ox. but she was with me and didnt want me standing about boring her.

Downside of the trip, getting ready to leave and seeing nearly everyone else had gone. And getting lost on the way back. came off the A45 onto m42 and headed for brum, unfortunatly for me it was M42 south west then m5 then m6, added about 30 minutes to my drive.

i was hoping to say hi to ox, chatted on msn a bit recently, saw his car but no sign of him!

I'm already upset that i missed it. Seiing those pictures just made me spit the dummy and throw my teddy bear in the corner of the room.

What a great day thanks for all the shropshire massive for arranging things.
It was good to meet you guys , faces to names and stuff. i enjoyed the convoy more than the show.Little things like when we lost you at the lights in coventry we thought s**t where do we go now?? but just over the hill there you all were waiting thought that was a nice touch as you didnt realy no us like the others you could of carried on but didnt . Quite funny realy everyone did 60 70 ish on the way there so as to not break any thing but on the way back ...ahhh F**k it give it some stick

Thanks for phoning to let me know the convoy was leaving. Bumped into a chap who I had not seen for years, bit unkind to rush off just for a blat home !

It chucked it down with rain during the night , and my tent didnt leak at all- that was a first!!

Realised it was you as you went passed.Not going too fast as motorway arround Birmingham is very bumpy and shakes the hell out of you.
Close to where you passed me did you see a "three wheeled rolling chassis ?" on a trailer being towed by a Picassa.Wonder if he had been at Stoneleigh . Just wondering what it is, any ideas ?

I saw that chassis and it looks very similar to a 3 wheeled hill climbing car i once saw with a bike engine and rear swinging arm all grafted in the back..........kind of ala Grinnal.

I agree it looked quite interesting too.

Im after a look at the video too if anyone can host it?

Looked very interesting,could be a BEC with ?"Triton" type seats it also looked "dirty".
Do they grass track this type of vehicle ?

From my fleeting glance it looked rusty not dirty!

I dont think it had an engine in it either - could be wrong thought as i went past it quite quickly!

My first impression was that he had taken it to Stoneleigh to sell and had no offers so was taking it home..............

or that he arranged to collect it from Stoneleigh after buying it

We will never know!
