Hi Guys
The NE7ER's are organising another trackday at Middlesbrough. As last time, £75 a car gets you a full day on this 2.4km track, with a free lunch
and an instuctor is available all day. Pit lane opens at 9.00am and closes at 5.00pm. There is a BP station within 1 mile selling BP Ultimate, if
that's your preference.
At the moment we have 23 confirmed entries and the track can handle 30 cars. So we need another 7 cars! Preferably Sevens!
Anyone interested MUST email peter @ peter@pellis.co.uk by this Friday confirming their place and making arrangements to make a payment to Peter.
If we don't get to 30, then either the track day is cancelled or the cost per car will go up. Or we open it up to TVR's and Elises etc.
Teesside 3
Come on there must be a few northern builders who will be passed their SVA by then?
Cheers
Mike
What's the noise limit?
Leigh
"There is a nominal noise limit of 107db "
But I ran there with no packing in my can all day and they never said anything!!!
Linky to Petrolheads / Peters website.
Cheers
Mike
I would love to come but I just can't get the time off work for this one
It was a great day last time out I would recommend it
Cheers
Mark
B0LL0CKS... I would have loved that one, but I'm on holiday!!!
Steve
me too, but its only 1 month before my wedding....
E mailed peter to confirm an interest and to ask him to reserve me a place.
See you there.
Regards Kipper.
im in too. Just need a return email and i can get payment sent off
Joel and Denis
Got you emails and replied
The situation is that I have 20 paid up people with a few more promissing funds.
If I do not get 30 cars I can either cancel, which would be a shame, or increase the amount to £90 which is still excellent value and will give you
more track time.
I should know better by this weekend. The extra would be paid on the day but hopefully with Mikes help (Cheers Mike) we will get 30 and there will be
no extra to pay
Cheers
Peter

I can't go!!!! I have been banned by the missus from being so far away from home when she's 38 weeks pregnant, in case she goes into
labour. Fair enough really - I hadn't done the maths when booking the trackday.
So, does anyone want my place? I've already paid Peter so if you'd like to go, just send me the 75 quid and it's yours.
U2U me and I'll reply with my mobile number.
Cheers,
Eddy
(about to be a dad...again!)
that kicked ass bigtime!!!
big thanks to the chaps who arranged it, that was the most fun ive had all year!
yeah, biiiiigggg thanks to Peter and Mike for organising that one. great day, good weather, good crowd, overall 10/10!
hope you can edit some of the bullet cam footage down and get it hosted. (feel free to edit out my spin!!!)
cheers
mike
what was that mike, remove everything except the spins?! Lol, it needs some serious editing, as theres nearly an hour of footage. Now wheres my manual...?
What a great day. Bloody typical though. SWMBO tells me to slow down on the track and then she drives home at nearly 100mph.
My first trackday in the seven and I really enjoyed it. Nice people, great cars and a n interesting track. Perhaps a little short but quite tricky.
Thanks to Peter and Mike. A great day.
Joel
Looking forward to seeing the clip of my moment
Had to laugh when Mike K described your car as the half finished locost! Had to explain that it was fully finished when you bought it and you've
spent most of your time ripping bits off it!
Hope you get that shifter welded up OK.
Cheers
Mike
Ahhhhh, that was Joel! That's the beauty of these events - suddenly you can put a face to a name!
Here's an interesting pic: -
It's out of Mark's S2 Lotus 'blade. Spot the error!
Shouldn't the oily bits be inside the engine?
whoops
Least he was smiling! even if it was too hot to hold with bear hands!
Hope he gets it sorted soon.
Cheers
Mike

Yep, that was me. I've left it for the time being. Pumped it up to 18psi, I'll check it tomorrow. Thought all of that abuse might just have
re-seated it-maybe It was a great day!!!

Leigh

just passed you sat there
I got mikes moment, and a few of my own though, so all is well!
[Edited on 9/8/06 by JoelP]
moment, moi? I think not!
My tyres had gone off! There was a rabbit on the exit to the corner! I thought I saw Elvis!
Can't wait to see the vids!
Cheers
Mike
Whats the wiring thats hanging down from underneath your car in those pics Mike?
Chris.
Oil pressure switch and oil pressure gauge wiring!
Fitted the sender for the oil pressure gauge into a brass t-piece in the sump a while back. Well the brass t-piece snapped off with the vibration on
a blat. Emergency repair was to stick a rivet in the hole and pull the wires off the senders. Wires must have come loose from where I wrapped them
up!
Must get on and get a remote fitting kit for my oil senders.
Cheers

slight error in the weight of right foot calibration
I know the flag for oil on the track is red and yellow stripes.
But what is the flag for "there's a fusking deer on the track!"
Is it the brown one?
Mike

Looks good Joel, sounds not too bad either.
Who's line were you taking on that last corner then?
Mike
I think you could do with some sticky tyres Joel!
Good footage though!
good vid, looks like your going well
