Glad to hear you enjoyed yourself
I had a great day too, the MKs were going very well i must say.
The guy in the Metro was on the ragged edge on every corner but he was doing very well against much better and more expensive cars.
Had a go in the GTS W7DE which did very good considering it was its first outing, it needs a good session on a rolling road as it wouldn't idle
properly but once it got going it was bally quick!
great day all round and much fun was had.
Cheers.

Good job matt you know it make sense.
bec is always the way to go,
I've only ever been in one other 7 and that was a 1600 caterham, so my Bird seems Bloody fast! I've yet to have anything keep up, I tend to try and find bikers to play with!
Had a run out in the R1 MK with the new chassis - driven by Danny from MK. Grip was monster - just when you think the thing is going to let go it
grips some more.
Dunno if anybody who went spotted the well used F27 Blade - sort of purple colour - in the Image pit. That was the original F27 that Pat Jackson put
the first Blade engine in years ago. When he developed the idea he took it to Westfield et al, but nobody was interested. Eventually Steve Porter took
up the idea and the BEC 7 replica became a reality. Not long after it was a success at a number of shows, and all the big boys started with their
versions of BECs.
The car is now owned by one of Pat's mates who has "fettled" the Blade engine up to about 170bhp. He took me round for a few hot laps -
totally bonkers and a top bloke.

Did anyone happen to notice the Westfield promotions girl. Here's me and the lads checking out the merchandise !
Oh, some firms were charging for laps round the circuit, but many firms were free for interested future customers. We all managed to get laps for
free.
PS, those minis were the fasted things on the track on Saturday. The Honda powered mini was eating everything else !
