This year's Christmas Do is on the 12th of December 2007 at the Angel, Ackworth, Nr pontefract, 500 yards from the roundabout at the junction of the A628/A638 towards Wakefield.

7pm start, here's the menu.

1.Prawn cocktail

2. Soup of the day (Day, or flavour, not specified)

3. Chicken caesar salad.

Main course

4. Turkey

5. Beef

6. Salmon

7.Wild mushroom rissoto*

Desserts

8. Christmas Pud

9. Selection of cold desserts

* Note if you order this item you will have the wee ripped out of you unmercyfully.

Fiver deposit and your menu choice to me by the November meeting on the 14th.

I got my legs slapped for not letting them know what we wanted last year, this won't happen again because if you haven't let me know by 14/11/07 you're not coming!

And remember it's strictly a tart free zone, this is tradition not sexism, we had a vote and it's a healthy majority in favour.

Take her out the day after or something.

doesnt seem like 5 mins since last year! I havent been all year either!

stick me down chris, soup turkey and cold. u2u me an address, i'll send a cheque for the full lot up front to save messing. (infact, what is the full amount?!)

Put me down for it too - Prawns, Turkey, Christmas Pud. Will try to get along on the 14th (you might have gone home when I get there) but if not I will drop my money in at the pub.
