I was just looking for somewhere to go in the car this weekend if the weather sorts itself out! 
Just been looking into this and a word of warning!
this Sunday high tide is at 10.38am so you need to avoid that time because the causeway will be flooded and you cannot get across!

Did anyone else go in the end?I went after lunch but didnt see any other se7ens there,pretty good show though.

SWMBO had to work this mornign and didnt finish til 1... when she got in I managed to convince her to come out but not as far as Mersea
In the end we went towards Woodbridge - I let swmbo drive and she took a roundabout in third gear.... full throttle and about 700rpm... flooded the
engine halfway uo the following hill and ended up being towed up the hill to safety by Plod...
when I worked what had happened and got it running again everything was fine...
we went on to Milsoms restaurant for sunday lunch and felt quite good pulling up in front of a posh country house in the Tiger....
