Bruntingthorpe next weekend?
skidude88 - 27/6/08 at 01:28 PM

Thought I'd open the thread so everyone else can use this to organise their stuff.

Who's going Leicester lot? (you know who you are)

Which Day?

Just looked and its all of 5.8mile for me, so wont need to convoy it down there?

(Wonder if I'm the closest resident?)

I will be there if everything goes to plan.
I need to get the engine back in and get it running again. if that happens I will be with Paul Nightingale on the Spire sports cars stand.
Paul will have his new demonstrator there and I will be there hopefully giving rides to all those willing to trust me.
Mine's the orange one

Hope to see you all there.

I'm seriously tempted going to wait and see what the weathers looking like by mid week.
Hopefully got a couple of mates interested as well so will probably make a weekend of it

Hi guys. Probably a stupid question but what exactly is happening at bruntingthorpe next weekend? I'm assuming it's not a track day as the next one on big thunder shows up as 19th July

locoR1 - 28/6/08 at 09:52 AM

Blatantly stolen from the front page of http://www.speedonwheels.com/

"SPEED ON WHEELS will be the most exhilarating and exciting performance track event and car show on the calendar this year!" Take a ride in specialist sports cars or drive your own car around an amazing 2 mile circuit.

Excellent, thanks. Are they strict on noise limits at brunters?

Thanks Paul.

Paul - you might be gettin mixed up with that thread you've posted - (Isn't that the MK meet booked for two weeks later)

Loco R1 is correct for this weekend "speed on wheels" by limelight the same people who do Donny

asl - 1/7/08 at 06:19 PM

Hi, Skidude. If that is the case is the policy on noise the same (At 5000rpm rather than 3/4 and a fairly practical approach)?

No mate I am not getting mixed up,I just did a link to that thread because I am lazy and did not want to type all the noise information again ,we will be there on the manufacturers track this weekend,we will also be at the trackday on the 19th of Julythe noise limits will be the same for both events.
