Yep - as said , a grand day out
I'm well impressed by Z-cars place , and some of the projects allmost had me reaching for my chequebook
And as for that type-R mini
The rolling road set-up is well impressive , all shiny and new - and despite my on-going mapping `issue's` , mine made a healthy 154.7 P/S @7500 (not bad considering stock is 137) cant wait to swap it for the bigger one and get back up there !

I got 150.8 at 6312 rpm and max torque (NM) 186 at 4973 rpm
And as above the mini's are fantastic + they have a roof just what i need

Just had a look at the lotto no good so i will not be getting a z car mini this week

Z Cars have a superb set-up and make top quality cars. The vtec was impressive and could be used as an everyday car. But the busa was something else, only problem my ears have not yet recovered.

Fantastic day out at their awesome facilities.

Much bigger than expected and saw some of their many fantastic creations.

The ride in the Busa mini with Chris was memorable for its fantastic composure under acceleration and breaking. Great sound also but what do you expect from a BEC!!

Power, my 2003 R1 registered 172Bhp at 10,750rpm which I was very pleased with and the guys at Z cars said it was very good for this engine so was over the moon.

Yep - they do go like stink , and handle incredibly well - but are a bit short on boot space to make a daily driver

Thats a good result Si, that means you where taking it easy on the run back from Brid, or was mine a near match for yours.

Brad,

Never really had to push it too hard so don't know how much difference there is between the two. What ever it is I don't think its going to be very great. Just pleased to know that its running well and the PowerCommander maps doing a good job.
Have you been to Z cars yourself Brad?

roadrunner - 28/10/08 at 08:07 PM

No not been yet, do you know if they can set up as well as dyno testing Si.

Si - 29/10/08 at 12:33 PM

Brad, I think they can, they are used to using PowerCommanders on the Busa's etc.
Give them a call - (0)1964 527725
