Just after a rough guide to the the cost of having the car corner weighted ?
The cost of 4 bathroon scales...
Plus some scrap steel ans/or wood to build lever arrangements tot bring within scales capacity.
You can even make do with 1 but slow and tedious.
Yes but is this method even remotely accurate?
OK - Assuming I dont have the scales or necessary skills to correct any problems with the corner weighting. What are the costs for a pro-place to do
it ?
Anyone had it done recently ?
normally about £200-250 including setting camber caster ride height etc etc.
make sure when you have the car corner weighted you sit in the car whilst it is being balanced.
This will give a better balance of the car as it has your weight in it whilst being weighted.
Get a an estimate/quote from procomp.
Or somewhere else. There are plenty of places which can carry out corner-weighting for you. Northampton Motorsport is one place which springs to mind which may not be far away from you.
Another method is, with a suitably flat floor, use a corner weight gauge such as this one.

If I were to pay-some one to do this I would defiantly call pro-comp first...

Hi
Cornerweighting only. £25 - £30.
Full setup including full dyno and balancing of dampers. £200.
Cheers Matt
Thats nowhere near as much as I expected tbh! What sort of waiting list do you guys have?
Good job I didn't post last night when I read this - I was gonna say that Procomp was £40 and not £30 ish, would have been ripping someone off
