General Advice/ Hard Descision
maskell01 - 8/7/14 at 07:32 PM

HI All,
After some general advice.......
After a few years building, and with a heavy heart i think it my building days have come to an end.
Due to change of project, brought a house, with ongoing projects.

So, as i say, i may have to sell the car.

Where would be the best place or is it a case for ebay?

Aaron

try on here.....
And bear in mind it may fetch more as parts rather than a whole (but more grief)

Got space to store it?

If you don't need the cash out of it, then tuck it away for a while and come back to it.

Its a little of both, the cash would certainly make life easier, but not necessary.
Storage is becoming a problem and the garage is full of the general......crap!

Ive wrestled with this for a few weeks now!
Breaking it would be a right pain in the backside!

The sad thing is there isnt a great deal to do!

Bloody House/Storage!

Its a ron champion based on the book!the donor was a mark 5 cortina!still got the offical log book sorn!
Its about 90% complete!only the fuel lines and the odd jobs to do!

Phah 90%! just finish it, sounds like more of a motivation issue

Write a list of the jobs left and tackle each one a day at a time, it'll be finished before you know it

Why not sell the general crap!

The garage should never be used for rubbish IMO.

how much you already invested & how much money you expect getting returned from the sale?

in this state it wont be much i guess... i have recently seen a x/flow powered, live-axle luego in "brand new condition",unfortunatley still running on an escort logbook, being sold for 2700...

i would try finishing it and get a proper registration...

Another vote for getting rid of the crap. I'm all for keeping the garage clear of junk that's worthless so I can keep the cars that are worth time money love n care undercover!
