just as a guide how much will i get for my set up i got the 1997 honda 919 blade engine
please list my option and price also what bhp they are at the wheels can i just say thank u i now am a pain
thats not an easy question to answer! but things to consider;
1;exhaust headers,
2;power comander ( if fuel inj)
3;clocks
4;diff (if your going for a power hike)
5;mods to propshaft
6;fitting,wiring,
7;rolling road session to tune
which ever way you try to do it,it wont be cheap!
just trying for an rough est
To add to daniels list
engine cradle
high pressure pump and return fuel line if fuel injection
airbox/airfilter
new hoses for plumbing
also alot of engines are not sold complete, so the throttle bodies, starter motors might have to be considered...
Not sure on what yours may be worth as a package, prices are bit mad at the moment, so might be worth waiting till prices pick back up.
i think speaking to ab performance and finding out what your options are for increasing the performance of your engine may be a cheaper move than a complete swap, at least that way you keep your bodywork, exhaust , prop, diff, etc etc. andy is the honda expert so you wont go far wrong with him.
Stick a turbo on it, made mine come alive !
Major costs are:
Turbo
Lockup clutch
3.14 diff
Intercooler
and a lot of making stuff as cheaply possible

Its all well and good upping the hp but in the real world the increase will actually benefit you very little - exceptions being when driving two
up.
Turbo by all means - but it places massive loads on Clutch and G'box.
Going from an 893 'blade to a ZX12R and the difference was smaller than you think. Two up it made a massive difference!
You can throw loads of money at gaining 50hp or more but I would wager that for 50hp you may be spending in excess of £1000 when the dust settles...
(no turbo) do you really think it is worth it?
I'd think twice - but the choice is yours!
Good luck either way!
