My new turbo gauge from glowshift has arrived and now i have the job of fitting it!!!! Looking at the dash there doesnt seem to be much of an area
behind the steering wheel for me to be able to fit and be able to see the guage. Has anyone got any ideas as to where else I could put the gauge such
as in front of the passenger seat and how often i will likely be looking at it . Also has anybody got any pics of theirs fitted??

Why not put it where your current 2 warning lights are in the centre? They would be easier to locate in a small space.
ATB Dan.
You will only glance at it occasionally to make sure you are getting full boost, by default your foot will be hard down at this point so your head will be worrying about where you are going.
not a bad idea Dan, it would look like this:
I hope so Mark
U only use it when U feel something is wrong.
I have driven turbo for 6 years and I never look at it.
But if U feel that it is pulling too much or too little it is good to have a steady gauge to check.
Just place it next to the rev gauge.

You'll be suprised by how much you can see through the wheel.
New dash
ATB Dan.
Mine is just to the right of the wheel (2 o'clock position).
I find it tricky to keep an eye on it when giving it the beans, and that is when you need to see it.
Nice and central (a la Dan) would be ideal.
I guess when things are running right I won't need to look at it and could replace it with an overboost warning light, but at the moment
(tinkering) its nice to see whether I am going to explode something.
Whats wrong with it on the cage ? Might be an iva issue on there ?
if so fit it temporarily while your building, then cage mount it when your ivad. Far simpler to stay looking out, than looking in at the dash when
testing.
Dont glowshift do a small pod for the gauges?, stick it on the scuttle top, right infront of your eyeline like the American drag cars do with their
tachos
My Glowshift on the Saab was on the door pillar. Worked well..
