Hi,
I bought a pair of CBR 600 TB from wilkingj a while back and the time has come to use them on the v8. I'm going to fork out and get Bogg Bros to
do the inlet etc.

my question is what to do with the crankcase breathing setup.
currently there is a vacuum port on the holly 390 i have which goes to a PCV on one rocker cover and there is a tiny inlet on the other rocker
cover.
how do i reproduce this with bike TBs?
thanks for any thoughts.
Chris
Just connect a tube to both rocker covers and feed into a catch tank, if you get any pressure in there it will buckle the Tin V plate between the heads.
I agree with linking into a catch tank, but if you do this make sure you remove the guts from the PCV.
It may stay shut if there is no vacuum on the end of it.
Don't connect vacuum to both rocker covers. The vacuum takeoff must be on one cover and the little inlet must be on the opposite rocket cover.
oddly enough when i got the car the setup was just venting both rocker covers to air via a catch tank. oil leaks led me to read about the vacuum port
on the carb and the use of a pcv valve etc.
i'll go back to the vent to air method..
thanks for the replies
