registering my mk indy

Just got my mk through the sva on tuesday and now have the pleasure of trying to register it.i want to get it on an age related plate but as i bought the car 90%done i am not 100%sure of which parts on the front and rear suspension could of come from the original doner car.I no the engine ,gearbox, axle, steering shaft, steering rack have come from the car, could the stub axles or any of the suspension arms come from it?

i think you will need receipts for all the main parts to get an age plate... could well be wrong...

I went for the Q plate myself and it was easy, thought the Q was better than and 87 F.

good luck took me over a month from SVA to being legal.

I registered my indy on a age related plate of the donar sierra even though I didn't even use the engine from the donar as I built a bec, I got through on the minimum requirement 2 of the 5 major parts, the two being transmition and steerring. You will need the v5 from the donor.

You almost certainly have to have proof of the actual donor, ie the V5 to get age related plate. Unless they make another new rule
Else it's a Q.
