Deals @ Stoneleigh?
Are there normally savings to be made at shows? I went last year but was to busy looking at what kit to order I didn't notice if there were
savings to be made and parts. Wondered if it's worth taking a good amount of money if there are.
Pete.

I was really dissapointed last year that there were not more savings to be had...
Yes you can look at stuff before buying and save on not having to pay for postage..... but I didnt see much that looked amazingly good value IMHO (few
good deals in the "cars for sale" shed!)

I've never noticed huge savings, but the parts are there for you to touch and feel and buy postage free, which on small parts can make the
differece between good/bad value.
Lots of shiney things will have your wallet bleeding so make sure it's full
Oh and don't forget to say hello

As said mostly post and packing savings but I would think may be this year there may be companies very desparate to sell.
Never hurts to try and negotiate.

You do see some parts and tools there cheap on a first come first served basis. Saving on postage is a good saving, especially if you want lots of
little bits and can't get them from the same company so would have to pay lots of postage.
You may be able to negotiate a good price on a kit as you are there in person.

Pays to shop around even at the shows.
At Detling, wanted some series 3 landy wipac rear lights. S-V-C had them at £15 a pair, another stand in the next hall had them at £4 each.
As already stated, it saves on the postage if nothing else.

I found with some off the traders where slightly dearer than online but, ask for a discount they can only say no. It helps if you know what your after
buying though then you can check prices before you go.
