Cadwell Locost Race 31st/1st

Hi All You Northerners (or long distance Southerners)
Anyone up for a blast to cadwell park to see the Locost racing other than just me and blade boy (jon ison). I think we have a couple of passengers so a few more cars would be nice. We may even go into Skeggy after the race for a couple of hours to terrorise the holidaymakers!

Oh and thanks for letting me know you were going, I mean it must be all of 15 mins from my house. Is it to get me back for Lincoln or are you afraid that I may have upset our cheque book 7 friends.

I knew it!!!!!!!

BTW where we meetin' saturday? How about MK's at 10am. Do you know where it is? Well anyhoo it's in the industrial estate behind the Langold pub in Langold. It's on the far side of the village on the left where you're coming from. Or any other suggestions. Only thing is you'll be surrounded by gawpers. Not that it'll put you off talking shop!

Did'nt think you could resist showing off the 'Ison Blade'(time for some stickers I think?). See you at 10am, weather looks ok too, should have the free tickets in the morning.
If all goes to plan it's Skeggy after Caddy. Don't make an ass of yourself on that donkey though!

Out of the house at 9.40am, fill up with juice. Drive to MK to meet mr Ison. Drive over to Cadwell Park (approx 1hr)to see Locost and BEC racing (they call it RGB). A good days racing finished at 5.45ish. Why oh why were there only 3 locosts there (excluding racers)? Me, Jon and a/n other (on his own poor bugger). Ok so Richard Chapman and his mate came in a TR6 and Steve Faunch who's car is nearly ready drove over too. Seems to me when people have built their cars and driven them for a bit all the interest goes. I thought we built them to drive! There must be more fully built cars on the road with drivers without an excuse who could have come for a blast. You don't know what you missed.(Skegness after for fish and chips and a go on the slots!). Got home at 9.50pm. Over 12 hrs Locost reated fun. Come on guys, fingers out!!!
