Lydden Hill Trackday - Vid
I attended the trackday at Lydden Hill in Kent earlier today.
Video Linky
I've just fitted new Protech shocks and got the suspension setup by Gerald Dale Motorsports so this was the first shakedown session.
The car was a revelation!
I was put in the intermediate group as this was only my third trackday. 8x15 minute sessions later and being merged with the experienced group I
wasn't overtaken once all day.
As you can see from the video, I was able to place the car exactly where I wanted on the track, brake very late into the corners and get on the power
early.
What you can't hear is the wheelspin trying to get the power down out of Elbow despite having R888's.
The engine is a 1600 4AGE 20v with a few mods and it absolutely flew.

Part 2 of the video here
Video Linky Part 2
Didn't really get accurate lap times as timing wasn't allowed but my wife recorded 47-48 seconds (maybe a little faster) on the quicker
laps in the later sessions. Lydden is a small curcuit.

Looks like you had a good day.
I think I did about a 50 second lap on my day. My computers too slow to edit videos and post them neatly which is a shame.
We will deffinatly have to get to geather and do a track day there some time. Boss everybody out of the way with our 4ages!!
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!
