My car on TV!...just
HERE
I spent last Friday at Donington doing a special day with wishes4kids Basically giving sick kids rides around
a sprint circuit. I've had some great days in the Fury but this was pretty special.
I think that I had one of the sicker kids in when they filmed that as I'd done that corner sideways with smoking tyres 9 out of 10 times (by
demand). It wasn't about how fast we could go though, just making the kids ...although most just wanted fast/sideways/scary!
Thoroughly rewarding day

The kids (boys in particular) all wanted the "supercars". After a couple of runs though they want the "fast ones". I was
declared fastest by several kids but is suspect a race spec Ferrari on slicks was possibly quicker but the circuit was in my favour. It was the only
thing I couldn't catch (single laps started at intervals) along with my mates R1 Pheonix.
You temper your driving to the kids. Some were very ill ("Go fast... I'll be dead next week" others handicaped. Thumbs up is
faster, down is slower; I had one thumbs down all day As long as they go home it's worth it.

That is such fun - we have something similar in Cape Town organised by Joe Struwig with an event every few months that is a huge hit with both kids
and drivers. More people should emulate his example in other cities. See link below
