Blyton trackday 25th Nov

Myself and a couple of mates are booked into Javelin's Blyton day this coming Sunday. (£99)

I see there's a Mac 1 entered.. anyone off here?

Loads of space, any more takers?

Aye, there's been a bit of wet about today. It'll be dry as a bone on Sunday though.

Paul, I guarantee the sun will be shining on Sunday. Get it booked. (There'll be a nice little blade powered car there for you to play with too. )

I might try a cheeky last min' booking if the forcast improves. Sorry Andy but the met office has slightly more credibility than you on that one. Looking bearable for Blyton at the moment but not for the drive over.

My forecast is 100% correct. The sun will shine all day. Of course we may not see it for the fluffy grey things in the sky.

I really really enjoyed Blyton in the rain.

You will be ok either way Andy in the Civic, although I am sure your right with the weather, I might just get a second opinion from the the met office then book on last minute, I have got a day off on Sunday, and realy fancy a good blast. but either way I will be there

If you just come over to spectate, fetch a crash hat. There's only one seat in the Honda but i'm sure one of my pals will give you a ride. (May need a rain coat too. )

Just watched the BBC forecast this morning, not looking too bad at all.

According to the met office site (and BBC this morning) I'd have >95% chance of heavy rain here when I'd have to leave, >95% chance of h/rain overnight (blyton doesn't drain well) and 80% chance of h/rain at Blyton untill lunch time...

Don't think I'll be coming. Hope you all enjoy and don't forget the video.

It's looking like a wet start, drying out from about mid morning. Hopefully a bit of sunshine and wind might see a bit of dry track in the afternoon.

Fingers crossed!

It lookslike the forecasters were spot on. Unfortunately the circuit was flooded from the overnight rain.

Cancelled.

No, it was only cancelled about half an hour before we landed. There were some big old floods in the surrounding fields on the way down!

No matter, can't be helped.
