Northants Group Meeting Wednesday 12th
Hi all. It's time for the Nothampton Group meeting again. Hope everybody got through Christmas and New Year in one piece.
The question is do we continue to meet at the Worlds End pub? Their weekly Wednesday night quiz really does get in the way. Any suggestions for
another venue? I have two.
1) Overstone Manor. A big old family restaurant/pub with a cordoned off area that stops kids disturbing the drinkers. Good sized car park.
2) A Premier Lodge hotel/restaurant/pub called the Quays. This is just before the entrance to Billing Aquadrome. Whenever I've been there in
the past the pub part hasn't been very busy and it's very quiet, nothing like the Billing Mill.
Let's have your suggestions.
Geoff

Last time I thought/tried going into the quays it was almost imposible to get into the carpark.
Overstone manor seemed quite large, I was there for the first time picking up passengers just befrore Xmas eve. Large carpark and what seemed to be
large inside. Almost as easy to get to as Worlds End, just turn up the road opposite for about a mile and its on the left. I would be quite happy to
give it a go if all agree.
Enjoy. 13 days to go.
Oh and all those that were spotted at Wellingborough train station, at about 15:50 today please say aye.

Yes it was me. You're right I didn't spot you. I was dropping my eldest daughter off to catch the train back to Leicester. Parking was a
bit congested so I rushed in and rushed out again.
