OK for me - only reservation is that it may clash with the WLM meet which *I think* usually happens around the first weekend of the month. Bob (the
builder) was watching this thread, hopefully he'll reply and let us know the score with this.

Boulters lock
Good shout,i was stuck there for a week on a film shoot in the eighties,if i remember right there is also a huge car park by the river opposite the
pub/lock.
If it's nice weather then Boulter's Lock is normally seriously busy and parking is a right B#gger.
There's a number of pubs/cafes around the Sonning Area.....I think there's a greasy spoon on Shepherd's Hill roundabout as you go
out of Reading.
Alternatively, there's The George, Loddon Bridge - easy access of both A4 and M4/A329M. Largish Beer Garden for Mr Phelps, and *HUGE* showcase
cinema car park just over the bridge. From there, there's some lovely roads out towards Sindlesham and Eversley...

Ok, shall we settle on Boulters lock for the 8th, with a view to changing for the next meet if Boulters is busy/too far?

Sounds a good call to me - I'll be there 9.30 - 10.00. As already suggested probably worth posting up a new message nearer the time with a map
(if anybody knows how to do that!)
Long live BLOB.
