Forrestburn fun night.
Anyone interested in a bit of action with there car ? Or even just to see some cars in action ?
MSCC are holding a fun night at Forrestburn hillclimb on Wednesday August 17th.
Format involves an open session on the hill - passengers are not a problem - followed by a barby followed by more action on the hill.
It's no more complicated than do a run, and head straight down to the start line and go again.
This is strictly members only, but new members are of course always welcome. Contact me if you are interested. It's an ideal way to experience
a hillclimb without commiting yourself to a competitive event.
As above - contact me if you're interested.
P.S. Here's the hill.

This is true...
really need to get my finger out and get my SVA sorted out - it's great having a trailer but a pain that I HAVE to use it.
There's only 1 (or maybe 2) more sprints for me this year I'm doing ...once their done I'll need to get the SVA attempted.

There will be folks there from around 6.00 onwards - got to make the most of the night. Things will start happening from around 7.00 onwards though -
once the hill has been cleared of concrete blocks
Just a reminder that this is on tonight. We're a very friendly bunch, so anyone that can make it along will be made to feel most welcome.
Last year there were various flavours of locost, westfield, Tiger, dax, caterham, ginetta, marcos, classic stuff like MGBs, MK1 escorts and some
exoctica including, ferrari, porsche and lamborghini - all being driven in anger.
P.S. Free Barby included for your tenner if you want to drive the hill.

Can't make it - daughter started school today, so wife has arranged celebration meal.
I'm sure there'll be other Forrestburn nights, but your daughter starts school only once!
Best Regards,
Steve.
