Locost Car Club newsletter

Work has already started on April's newsletter.

In the nerve centre banks of lights twinkle and reels of tape swirl back and forth, the trained apes sit hunched over word processors smoking.

and yet, theres something missing.

Any meaningful content.

If you could find it in your heart to send anything Locost related in, I would be very greatful

SVA or build stories, hints and tips, publisise your event or meet.

Please.

Petty please.

Cheers

Chris

Hi Chris,

Do you want some pics and a short piece on where I am up to with my rolling chassis?

Baby is much better.
Still coughing, but much less and only turning bright pink now!

Trying to get the engine and cradle sorted, and then back on with the bodywork, so may be a coupe of weeks yet!

Pat ;-)

I can do that !

Step 1

Wrap ali round chassis, cut to size, bang over edges.

Step 2

Cut top and bang over edges.

Step 3

Cut hole in top for boot, and bang over edges.

Step 4

Stand back and admire.... and think.... a couple of crash hats will go in there a treat.

Step 5

Go and get crash hat to try in the hole.

Bo**ocks, 5 mm to narrow

Any fibreglass experts out there know how to remove 5 mm from a crash hat?

Hi Trev

Wheel arches and mud guards are harder to make than I thought.

I'm after some wheels at the moment.

I need 1off 13", 1off 15", a 17" and a 14 1/2"

The deadline is March 14th.

I haven't heard about anyone taking over in Lincoln, it's not a massively large job if anyone fancies it.

Trev, Would you be able to do us something about simple metal working?

Something like the expert painting guide we had a few issues back.

Possibly something aimed at the novice?

Cheers

Chris
