Next Central Scoland Meeting (Overdue!)
Well, it's been a month since the last meeting guys. I think it might be time to pay the Beefeater a visit again to discuss respective
progress.
What do you think?

"discuss respective progress" .... I guess I'd better get in the garage this month!
Will try and make it, but I'm working in London next week and may not be back in time.

JC,
Just checked out your website. I'm very impressed with your progress. Also fairly impressed how rusty those back wheels are! I think you may be
on the road before the end of the summer......
I'm quite keen to hear how you aligned the suspension brackets. (Your Jigs look interesting). Also did you use the same 1" RHS as the
chassis for the trailing arms?

Rear wheels are the steels that came off the car (reversed in the pics), but they've been stored outside for a while because they're not
going on the car. We've got a set of alloys same as the fronts. These won't fit the back at the moment because drums aren't on a and
spacers need to be turned. Were going to get them blasted and powdercoated black. The rear trailing arms are MK's standard fare. I presume
they're just the seamed 1" SHS same as chassis. Trying to get bodywork at the mo but MK won't post it, too many getting damaged.
Jigs were devised to get alignment spot on, made from 1" thick MDF. Idea was to develop jigs as we progress so that car number two would be easy
to make...

JC - the 4th should be OK for me, I'm back from London a day early.
Euan - the floor looks like it should be a very good fit, thanks for sorting it out for me. Will try to get it fitted over the next few days.

Not heard of anyone else in this site from up your way. But I know that there some people in the Scottish Kit Car Club from up north.
