Anyone fron NE to Stoneleigh??
As title - who is travelling from N.E. to stoneliegh on Sunday? Fancy joining up for a convoy? Im working on a pass out for Sunday only - never driven
that far before so apprehensive!
I join A1 at Faverdale, Darlington. Next major services are for me are Scotch Corner.
In order to set the meet times - Q1 is what time is the Woodall services meet up?? (between J31 and 32 i think on M1). Is this just after the M18
joins M1?
Joel - where will join the M1? Are we best to miss out the M18 to meet up with you?
Who will be coming back on Sunday evening? I cant get 2 day pass out (im still working on the one day pass out to be honest!)
Cheers,
Darren.

I will be heading down from Darlington at about 1pm on Saturday.
I will probably stop at Tibshelf services around 2:30 - 3:00 depending on the traffic.

Ok everyone, looks like there is a meet up arranged at Woodall services at 09.00 to catch up with the yorkshire crowd. Hows about we meet up at petrol
station at Scotch corner services to leave at 07.30 on Sunday morning then have a steady 1.5hrs blat to Woodall (via M18) from there? By my reckoning
it is approx 95 miles from SC to Woodall so 1 tank should clear that for us all i guess.

labelled Billy no mates by the yorkshire lot!!!

Darren, that's a 444 mile round trip for me! Even at a fair lick that's going to be 8 hours in the saddle there and back. It's not
going to be nice sweeping roads either, it's all on dual carriageway and motorway.
At 20mpg that's £100 on unleaded alone! Then I've got pies and drink to add to that bill. Then all the shiney bits I end up buying at
shows!
But if it'll save you being Billy, then I'll have to see about joining in. Must admit the thought of 10 - 12 locosts in Convoy down the
M1 / M69 does sound tempting. Must get some ear plugs!
Cheers
Mike

I have to admit Mike that that equation has been ringing in my head as well. My dad will be passenging with me so ill be able to halve fuel cost. Ive
just been told kit car drivers get in for free as well which is nice.
If i was driving down and back on my own id have second thoughts but in convoy it will be great. Go on - you know it makes sense! There are not too
many shows on - Stoneleigh will be the furthest i will be travelling this year.
20mpg - why not take the Mk then instead of BMW
Just thinking about it i know someone who wants to go and will split the petrol cost with you. He lives at Hetton Le Hole.
Are you at ne7ers meet tonight? What time?
