Locost Builders weekend away

Hi y'all thanks for a great first time @ Donny. Great weather, good company, smashing cars and an evenings entertainment thrown in for good measure.
Just a few things to think about for next year tho ??

Whos bringing the popcorn maker ??
Would a 200 ft extension lead be in order ( free juice from wc. block ??)
Can we find a slightly lower powered kettle !!
Or shall i just bring a bigger GenSet !!

PS: Where were all the flat caps n whippetts boys ??

I was tempted to bring our generator from work. A nice silent running 4Kw Honda jobbie. It's easily transportable in a car but I think it would have tipped me over the edge with everything else I had in tow. I'll see what I can do next time.

It was one hell of a weekend though.

7 out of 10 people suffer with hemorrhoids. Does that mean the other 3 enjoy them?

OH YES

A big thanks to all that got involved, there was a lot of planning in that one.

We may have to get a support vehicle next year though, unless we can all bring the bits seperate.

Maybe there is a full time job for Dazza there,i think i'll book him now LOL.

I was there Sunday in my car but I didn't find a locost area so I dumped it at the side of the road and walked round for a while. Looked at the locusts and lomax 3 wheeler things I was parked near then went into the show. Had a look at MK and crew and went on the infield near the spark plug and watched for a while, had a burger and a coke and wandered round the pit lane picking up ideas, went home about 4.30. Not a bad day for 2 quid entrance (whippet gets in free) Wish I'd had a flat cap to keep the sun off.

yours, Pete.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

My camera's playing up, I shall bash it next week and hopefully get some pictures up. I'm the sleepy looking one on the right in lcw1.jpg above btw.
