How many have you got ?
After the recent posts about speeding , I thought a quick poll would be in order.
BTW I currently have a clean license.

Clean licence since i was about 20 and that was quite a few years ago
Guess that's due to never going over the speed limit but getting there quickly

4 years ago got 3 for 75 in 60, police gave me an SP60, should have been an SP30, queried 18 minths later, points removed, £60 refund.

Why should it have been an sp30?
I got an SP60 for speeding over 5 years ago, similar speeds on a single carriage way (meters before it became a duel carriage way - although
that's irrelevant).
If I could get my 60 pounds back i'd be interested (I was speeding and therefore accept the points on the license - esp. as they've now
cleared )

SP 60 in an undefined speeding offence, e.g. exceeding a temporary limit.
SP30 is exceeding the limit on a public road.
SP40 is exceeding PSV speed limit.
SP50 is speeding on a motorway.
They got it wrong, admitted that, if they were fining and penalising they needed to get it right.

Got three for speeding last year. Camera van just leaving a village in Leics somewhere! I was clocked at 35 in a 30zone. I took it on the chin and
paid up, smug knowing that everytime I get in the car, I must be breaking the speed limit at some point of my journey, so 3 points and £60 is value
for money over the past 20 years!

I left my points in my old Red Licence book in the late 60s, still got it somewhere. I have learnt to be cautious in the last 45yrs.

I have learned to be careful of late, got stopped for 146 kmh in a 100 kmh zone, old police badge and nice new officer.
By the way over 50 kmh over limit is called street racing in Ontario, Licence gone immediately for 30 days, care impounded, fine of $2000.00, roughly
1100.00 Sterling.

Many years ago I got done for doing 70mph in a 30 zone on my bike... My only excuse was that it was 6:00 in the morning, the roads were empty (apart
from the police car!) and I was rushing to catch a train... I was relieved to only be done for exceeding 30mph - I owned up and paid up (no excuse
really).

I can't believe that so many people have got clean licences on what's basically a sports car forum!
I got my 6 within a month. 49 in a 30 then 45 in a 30... Just doing the same speeds as I would have done while working nights!

Clean license considering i am doing 35-40K miles a year
I was also really lucky last year as i was in a hurry to catch my flight and drove 123miles in 1.30 h with a 15 min stop for coffee and petrol.
When i had slowed down because there was a C**t blocking the way, i saw behind me approaching some blue lights and i was of the way doing 60s. when
he pulled away, back on three digit numbers.
