Stu,
I'm based in Denny and there are a couple of other builders in the Falkirk area. (Dunc & Ewan Spence).
I'm not a member but the Scottish Kit Car club meet up in Grangemouth - see my reply to Hornet's post in the "Locost Related" section.

I'm happy to meet up - I'll have to come in my family car though - my Locost is still a set of badly welded tubes in the garage at the moment.
Greasy Spoon cafes with large car parks seem to be the the prefered venue for the Southern meetings. The only cafes I can think of are the two near
the Kincardine Bridge. Any other suggestions ? We could meet up at a pub?

I am willing to meet up any time. I hear there is a Kit Car show this weekend somewhere near Irvine, had anyone got any detail. Anyway any night suits
me or the weekend. I am going away on Wed of next week for a week but apart from that just name the venue. Although pub sounds good

Handy pubs with parking near to the M9 motorway are Beancross or Cadger's Brae near Grangemouth & Polmont. Anyone got any better suggestions?

I'm up for most sunday nights except the 8th of sept.
However if you guys just can't wait Friday the 6th at 19.30 is cool for me.
Camelon beefeater sells stella on draught.
Anyone got a better reason for a better pub?
And also my locost looks like a modern art sculpture (you know lots of tubes stuck together so don't laugh at my ride)
I'll keep an eye on the site for updates

I'll drop along for a wee hour as well - I'm only along the road in Cumbernauld. It would be nice to see some similarly pained faces ;-)

Alright? Yeah Friday night was pretty good shame I had to leave a bit early though. however it would appear that we have already got a wide range of
source for various bits and pieces and some good knowledge. Anyway getting back to a conversation we had on the night. I have looked around a bit and
the best deal I can see is for the MK chassis. It comes with all wishbones and all fibre glass bits needed. The non IRS is £750 and the IRS with Hubs
fitted (exchange) is £995 + VAT hmmmmmm. Something to discuss next time.
First round is one me next time.
Cheers
Stu
