New Scottish place to thrash your car

Dont know if anyone is aware, but those chaps that run the drag days at Crail in Fife have arranged the same thing at Edzel air base every month this year ! (thats about half way between Dundee and Aberdeen)
Yes, there are loads of 19 year olds with their Corsas etc but as the base is within earshott of my house, and once my car has passed SVA (hopefully in May) I'll be there !
Dont have the dates to hand but they can be found on Crail raceway's site.
Last time I was at Crail, there was only one 7 type car, would be nice for a few to turn up and blow away (most) of the road cars that go to these events
Mind you, theres always these nutters with 500hp Evo's and 1000 hp Skylines to worry about
Any one interested give me a shout, you could always hide at my house for a cup of "Tea" if it P**ss*s down.

blowing corsa disco wagons away should be made into a national sport.

You can pick up details at shell petrol stations in the real north.

Crail is a bitch to get to even from glenrothes and the speed trap boys have a party when these events run.
Edzell is easer to get to and would make a change

Edzell -- very historic before the yanks came it was used for racing -- perhaps only one meeting before the cold war turned into a communications listening post --- the big race was won by one Jim Clark
