Oulton park trackday 28th June
Anyone doing the Easytrack Oulton day, 28th June? Myself and Bigfoot should hopefully be there.
It's an open pitlane day, and 105db static noise.
And it's going to be gloriously sunny.

It's just what you need to unwind, after a busy holliday!

Very funny , you will not require extra long belts for me Andy, Ive been on a major fitness campaign since the start of the year, I am now but a
shadow of my former self, I don't think I will be upsetting your pinto power to weight ratio too much

Pretty good day yesterday! Good to meet up with Richard, Steve and Paul. The car behaved mostly.. a wee oil leak apparent at the end of the
day, but otherwise it went well.
Didn't get many photos, here's a few:

I wasn't waving at the camera - honest!
Had a great day out on track Gaining a lot more confidence in the car on track - still nowhere near what it's capable of, I'm sure,
but it's plenty enough for me at the moment!

What a great way to spend a afternoon, some great weather, watching some real quality track cars, big thanks to Andy and Pete for the rides in the
Pinto beast, and Richard "bigfoot" for the ride in his very quick little Striker, some superb driving from both of them, enjoyed every
minute of it, honest!!!
Had a chat and a good look round pete2k's S2000 Dax, top quality build, great attention to detail, could not fault it
Here's a few pictures of the day.

a couple of vids.
the first one was really good fun despite all the traffic
less said about the second one the better, cold slicks and a heavy right foot don't mix

Going well as usual. You got in a nice little high speed train there.. yellow Caterham was getting nicely out of shape! The green
"ballasted" Westy didn't put up much of a fight at the end.
Spin looked a bit "out of the blue", there could have been something on the track. I know at one point during the day the exit from the
second chicane was decidedly dodgy..
Pete's had a youtube upload fail overnight, will try again today.

Nice little battle there, that Caterham did not want to be passed did he, the little striker looked like it was handling so much better through the
corners

i'm fairly sure the spin was just me asking to much of cold tyres rather than something on the track.
some good pics there steve, the mk busa with the red cage ended up in the barrier exiting cascades on the last lap of the day

What, the big lad that you sold the pads too?
Oh man, I bet he was mad as hell - he was moaning about everything all day long anyway and that's when it was normal kitcar teething stuff...
I hope he was driving it rather than a mate as he would have probably killed him!
I bet MK will have had an angry phone call today!!!
