WLM sunday 2nd jan 2005
I'm thinking box hill and i'm thinking food
Also anyone wanting to make the annual friday trip down to goodwood festival of speed who want a grandstand seat, yes i know its not till june 24th but
a couple of us are going to book a seat in the paddock stand and it would be a good idea to book together so as we get a row of seats.
Thats unless theres someone you dont like
Friday is now £20 admision and £15 for a seat ouch !!!
So if you want a seat bring cash or cheque and we can get them all together,if you dont want a seat just bring enough money for a coffee for me and
you can cock off and sit on your own

Ive been busy with welder etc and the chassis is beginning to take shape.
Originally i made the mistake of cutting some tubes to size with all the angles;but that meant cutting twice as each build is not spot on-lots of
practice filing etc. maybe more attention all those years ago
in metalwork is appreciated.
Pictures to bring for comment;
see Sunday.

What a good turnout ; i'm rapidly running out of excuses other than the car is in the rack of tubes.
How long is it to build a car?

Coast Run?
Went down to Eastbourne afterwards in my 'ye olde Citroen' , nice bright day would have been pukka in the 'Locosts' we ought
to get a trip together sooner or later.
We could head for Brighton / Worthing , if we got too cold we could go and hide round at Jasper's and warm up............

Sorry I missed it.
Ended up spending the day doing CV gaiters on the Golf.
You might wonder how it took me all day to do. Well, unfortunately VW forgot to tell me they'd fitted non-standard drive-shafts to my car so the
gaiters wouldn't fit!
Still, it's cool having factory fitted GTI bits on there!

Bollocks, bollocks, bollocks, knew there was a(nother) u2u I had forgotten to write!
That one went the same way as the reply about rivnuts/gas. After a whole day spent trying to sort a couple of poxy gaiters to then take the car on
test run and to then get oil pressure warnings I had other things on my mind!
Anyway, thanks for the help Ned!
cheers,
James
