Jimmy Savile / Newark

Right,

Did anyone see me, full frame photo, baz, rob and indykid parked up in the centre of the A1 just outside Newark in the traffic jam?

Anyway, who was next to us trundling past in his nice new Ferarri - Jimmy Saville.

Now there's a sight.

Can't say he stopped to see if we needed any help though?

Pat...

absolutely fine, no hiccups, no disasters, just kicking loads of stuffs arses on the way.

i love all them roundabouts! i anhialated a 325 off the M1

i wore shorts on the way back, and my left knee is just a bit tender right now. i got suncream on most of the rest, so i'm not that burnt, fortunately (cheers mum). i need a balaclava for my helmet, but apart from that, sound.

anyway, i take it we all got back safely then.

Yep. Managed three figures on the speedo on a couple of occasions and my rattle didn't get any worse. Only happens under power so can't be the tappetts!

Roll on the BEC, can't wait to be abe to keep up to Rob - his car really flies, when it's not loosing water!

What's next, Harrogate?

Hopefully, I won't have a car then, but will be fishing for bits!

P.S. Did Newark contact you to ask for all their gravel back?

Pat...

when i got back to my tent, the gravel i rubbed off one tyre half filled my hand

damn those r888's are sticky!

i think i saw 3 figures, but over about 75, the speedo starts to read half figures, and it shut down completely for the gatsos on the A1. it's a good job it was fairly busy.
yep, harrogate. i'll be there.
it's great turning up in a kit, 2 days in the show, and camping for free. the night entertainment was utter shite though. i think i was too sober still, i'd do it next year.

and yes, i'd love to keep up with rob!
